The Birth Continuum Wisdom Collective - May 10th, 2025

Are you looking for what might be possible in preconception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum and motherhood - beyond the assumptions, expectations & culture we have inherited?

In gathering on this Saturday in May, we will:

🌿 Connect deeper with the mystery, miracle & magick of the birth continuum,

🌿 Spark healing for all women through orienting to these life phases as sacred events & rites of passage,

🌿 Anchor into the ways in which our physiology can reveal truths about the nature of the divine intelligence that courses through every aspect of our beings,

🌿 And sit in circle with wisdom keepers from our community and receive the gifts of their teachings.

I am calling in all women who:

🌖 resonate with the above intention,

🌖 be they women in the midst of childbearing & child-rearing,

🌖 birthworkers or women who work with women,

🌖or simply women who recognize the mystical odyssey of womanhood and are ready to sink deeper into its wisdom.

I have invited sage women from our community to share their wisdom in one of the four phases, starting with preconception/conception, pregnancy, birth and postpartum, as well as a powerful closing presenter to weave it all together.

The opening circle will begin at 9am and we aim to be wrapped up with the closing circle by 5:30 pm. 

Snacks, beverages and lunch will be included.

We will gather in St. Albert, Alberta - address of the location will be provided upon registration.

~ Art of Preconception: Fertile Foundations For Life - with Chloe Skerlak

~ Embodied Pregnancy - with Megan Schafers

What if you already held the answers & information you need about your pregnancy? From the moment of conception, a woman’s body, guided by the divine intelligence of Spirit, orchestrates the intricate process of creating new life. This wisdom is innate. It doesn’t need micromanaging, but rather trusting. Rather than blindly following medical protocols and outsourcing her decisions, what if she practiced tuning in, listening deeply, and attuning to its wisdom—so she could understand its signals and discover exactly what she needs to know?

~ Ceremonial Birth - with Josee Geobel

Embracing the magic and mystery of the sacred rite of passage from Maiden to Mother. Birth as we know it today is often viewed from a lens of fear. With birth trauma at an all time high, it’s easy to understand why that is. But birth hasn’t always been this way, it was once revered as a simple yet sacred journey from Maidenhood to Motherhood. In this session we will move through ways in which birth can be honoured through rituals and mindset shifts that allow us to embrace the magic and mystery of birth and reclaim it as the transformative ceremony that it truly is.

~ Understanding the Whole MotherBaby Nervous System: An Interconnected Design - with Angela Dechaine

Orienting to the whole is a foundational tenet of Craniosacral Biodynamics. When working with Mums and Babes it is paramount to orient to their nervous system as one deeply interrelated network. This talk is a wholistic introduction to the nervous system, how it functions in safety and under stress, and the biological design of humans to be sensorial, relational beings. The intention is to support Mothers to understand their place and power at the center of the family nervous system constellation.

~ Mother Evolution - with Jordi Klassen

Join Jordi in this reflective experience as we unify the aspects of Mother; the unbecoming, the becoming and the rise, to gain a better understanding and felt sense of the Rite of Passage that is Mother, and how it brilliantly evolves not only us as Women, but humanity as a whole.
